I live in upstate New York with my two dogs; a 17 year old Min Pin
(Zeus) and a female dog I recently rescued from the Puerto Rico
hurricanes (I have been learning Spanish and she is learning
English!). Her name is Ela and she is a joy.
I have been writing in some form or other since high school when I
bought my first guitar (a 12 string for $50 from one of those
magazines my mother used to receive in the mail) and began writing
songs. In college, I started my first novel that I hope to go back to
and finish someday.
I currently work for a school district in transportation as a router
and dispatcher where I use software to solve the puzzle of getting
5600 students to many different schools, but my goal is to become a

Rob Watson was born in Santa Monica, California. He is married and is the

That’s a very good question, Akansha.
I would also say that your specific question is very important to the Chronicles of a Hero. That being said, I have to be very careful how I answer.
The wrong information could sour readers and upset The Narrator (which I really don’t want to do). That’s one of the challenges of being a writer and building a deep connection with the world you’re engaged in. You gain people’s trust and confidence and the last thing you want to do is jeopardize that.

Chuck, also known as Morphiophelius “Smith”, is a special individual.
He’s funny, kind, extremely thoughtful and has a deep love for family. His whole life has been spent in the service of others, as a protector, a teacher and even a father. Not only is he one of the most unique beings I have ever met–he is what I refer to as a scale.
What I mean by this is, if you take this world, which has countless layers of information, history, genealogy and conflicts along with the future potential centered around our hero Wendell…you can link them through a single personality.
A person who is acquainted with both the past, present and a good measure of the future.
That’s Chuck.
He’s the old man who’s seen it all, done it all and has been a vital participant in many of the key events of our history. That’s what makes this mägo (our name for wizard) so interesting.
Well, that and his 6’ beard.
Chuck is a window for all of us to look through when we want to know more about the heart of this world, its people, or even its secrets.
Now, he’s not immortal by any means…but I just can’t give you a specific age.
The fact is, I don’t know that answer.
Here’s the good news: Chuck’s story will unfold in many ways, with each new Chronicles release. Not just the Chronicles of a Hero series, but in Höbins books, even the games created will have hints infused within them.
My hope as a writer (and Höbin says he hopes as a Historian), is that readers like yourself, Akansha, will figure out the grand puzzle in time.

I live in upstate New York with my two dogs; a 17 year old Min Pin
(Zeus) and a female dog I recently rescued from the Puerto Rico
hurricanes (I have been learning Spanish and she is learning

I have been writing in some form or other since high school when I
bought my first guitar (a 12 string for $50 from one of those

factories, stranded astronauts, lovecraftian librarians, virulent
plagues, and pork scratchings … all with a twist in the tale,
courtesy of the equally twisted mind of David Court.
David Court is a short story author and novelist, whose works have appeared
in over a dozen venues including Tales to Terrify, Strangely Funny,
Fears Accomplice and The Voices Within. Whilst primarily a horror
writer, he also writes science fiction, poetry and satire.
His writing style has been described as “Darkly cynical” and
“Quirky and highly readable” and David can’t bring himself
to disagree with either of those statements.
Growing up in the UK in the eighties, David’s earliest influences were the
books of Stephen King and Clive Barker, and the films of John
Carpenter and George Romero. The first wave of Video Nasties may also
have had a profound effect on his psyche.
As well as being a proud VIP writer for Stitched Smile Publications,
David works as a Software Developer and lives in Coventry with his
wife, three cats and an ever-growing beard. David’s wife once asked
him if he’d write about how great she was. David replied that he
would, because he specialized in short fiction. Despite that, they
are still married.

Erin McDermott was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated college
with a bachelors degree in History. If she’s not in her room writing,
you may find somewhere on the Jersey Shore with her family. She has
been writing stories since 3rd grade. It was not until after
experiencing the fast-paced life New York City had to offer that she
decided to finally take the plunge and finish her first book, CAPTIVE
REBEL (The Allegiance, Book 1).
During her years in college she expressed a deep interest in Greek
Mythology, which she incorporates into The Allegiance Series. She is
incredibly grateful to her family for supporting her throughout the
